I have experience in photography, but i love how this photo looks, it’s new to me. I have a sony a330 DLSR camera. the photographer used “fill flash” for this portrait. more than likely an off camera flash mounted on a light-stand with an umbrella or some sort of diffuser, as you can see the fill in flash is coming from camera’s left…

in fact, one comment on the photo mentions the use of “ABs”= alien bees.. which are strobe units.

if you like the look of this photo and you want to replicate it, i would suggest you do some research on outdoor portraiture using fill in flash.
