hi really interested in photography, I love to capture images of wildlife, but so does anyone know how photographers get those amazing pictures as properlly like what affects software and etc. Does anyone know how to get into a business selling photos?

Photo shop? It's a computer and is very expensive.

What equipment do I need to start a home business on the photo?

I just bought the Canon 40D. I have a goal 28-135mm. But this is all I have. I want to start a small business start outdoor portraits. I would also like to know what is the best editing software is there.

You can zoom the camera and a decent portrait. Other things you need (in less than one in my experience): A flash shoe filler. A softbox / diffuser Demba / Lightsphere flash shoe for dissemination / soften the light. Reflectors (white / silver / gold) Extend tripod material – sometimes in direct sun, the light can be too bright and you want to cut with soemthing like a sheet of pure white or similar. It gives a lightbox effect of light and beauty, the Dura direct light. Other things that would be good, but not necessarily Required: A battery backup or flash with an umbrella hotlights flashlight reflectors are required for editing software Photoshop CS3 BEST. However, unless You will need refinishing or expanded capabilities of graphic design, I recommend watching woul Lightroom Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0. Both have 99% of what a photographer needs to do some production work on good images. Lightroom is $ 200 and items is $ 79 (I think). I can still use Photoshop CS2, just because I've been using Photoshop since version 7 and I know that tool is cheap and upgrade. If I were just starting now, would probably get Lightroom.

what is the best macintosh pc (not a laptop) for budding photographers who want to start a small business?

a friend of mine just graduated from business school and she wants to start a small photography business with $3200 as budget for her computer, both software and hardware. as she desperately wants a macintosh, which model would you recommend for her? if you can, please help her out with the best specs, like which video card to buy etc. also, which software would be best to use aside from photoshop? thanks a lot!

Really any of the mid-range to high end iMacs will work fine for your friend.

You really don’t need to go to the trouble and expense of the MacPro towers for the vast majority of photo work.
