I am looking for a good book that may show large technical for light and shadow in photographing models

I am somewhat new to photography and I am falling in love with it. I would love to learn more. I know I can go searching for a book at the library but, just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions about what books to check out. It could be about famous photographers also.
