My mother is overbearing about the kind of pictures I take? She says it is porn?

I am 21 yrs old and wish to pursue a career in modeling. Recently I had a photoshoot with a well known boudoir photographer. I was clothed throughout the shoot, none are nude, none are in suggestive poses. The least amount of clothing I wore was a bra and panties. They are sexy yes, but she qualifies them as porn. She also frequently says that pictures in the Victoria’s Secret catalog are porn. I want to do a pinup / cheesecake style photoshoot in the near future, but she says that is most definitley porn and the only purpose is for men to jerk off to it. I only plan on wearing small outfits, not underwear or anything like that.
She makes me feel very badly about the pictures I have taken and swears they are going to come back and haunt me, that I’m raunchy, etc. What should I do? Is boudoir and pinup photography reall porn like?

Question on willingness relating to posing for art?

While thinking in photography, I got an idea for a photo that I wish to take. It depicts violence and I will state no more as to what it will be. It is a work in progress curently only in my mind. My question is that do you think I will be able to get canidates to pose for me? I am not asking you to be my canidates..merely asking if I will manage to find some around where I live. I live in a fairly small town in Illinois and am 16 years old. I will need one woman (preferably someone who can cry on command) and around three men. The woman and men will all be partially nude, however, there will be no physical contact what-so-ever. This is purely for artistic and expressional purposes. Do you think I can manage to find worth-while canidates?

If you’re near a large city, you might try Craigslist. They have sections for art, talent, etc. (www.craigslist.org)

Your age might be a hindrance here. I’m not sure how many adults would be willing to place themselves in a situation of being nude in the company of a minor. I do some figure drawing modeling and work a few open studios. I will only work at places that require a parent attend with any artist under 18.

I need some “exotic” pictures for a project and don’t know where to find them!?

I am in a visual arts class in college and I have to do a photography project involving humans and animals together. I was assigned snakes for the animal, and need to find professional or semi-professional pictures of men and women posing with snakes. Mild nudity is allowed because this is a college art class, but no porn please! Plus, we are examining the natural relationship between humans and animals. Where can I find websites with people posing with snakes?
