would this be a good photography lighting kit if not what do you think would be a good kit for me to start off with my buget is 200-500$ and i have a nikon d60
Halogen lights aren’t good for portraiture (if that’s what you’re doing) they make the sitter very uncomfortable and that will show in your shots. There’s also the colour temperature issue. You’d do better to stick to flash.
If you’re on a tight budget, it may be worth considering buying secondhand/ reconditioned units. Frankly, cheap kits tend to be poor quality, low powered rubbish. It’s better to invest in one quality head, and build up as and when you can afford.
