How my photography created sound?
A backdrop, a strobe flash alien bee B400 on one side, a continuous burning 120W incandescent lamp filtered through a rigged soft box (large piece of fine cotton cloth) on the opposite side of the B400 and one incandescent light similar (either with or without soft box) used to illuminate the backdrop. Yet to all the right angles should this configuration is sufficient to take quality photos professional people? any suggestions? Thank you.
Refine the flash with a yellow filter to match all the incandescent bulbs and white balance to deal with your camera. This may help …. http://photo.net/wedding-photography-forum/00GygS

Team photo?
My brother just picked up photography as a hobby leisure / income, I do not think he could earn money until he started getting requests from friends and colleagues, and they are looking and trying to find studio lights, now only two soft light box? umbrella and a light style. Anyone know of any good sites do not bother me if it is used because it has a huge budget so something reasonably priced, would be perfect, Information Notice Any advice and experience are welcome and appreciated, now I think I might have helped if I mentioned that I am in the Charlotte area in North Carolina, USA
Jump to http://adorama.com have excellent tutorials on lighting, at a reasonable price starting light kits. Another good resource is http://alienbees.com .. they also have excellent lighting and at a very modest beginning set-up.

Portrait and fashion photographers! What is your favorite soft box/ umbrella light?
I’m a college student looking to invest in my first professional photography light. I’m leaning towards soft box but not sure which type to buy. What would you suggest? Small, octagonal, large square? Please let me know a specific type/company name and a link if you can. If you’re anti soft box, tell me why and tell me what you would suggest.
I am a portrait photographer but do enjoy some fashion portraits. I was thinking of a small soft box for the edgy shadows. Let me know what you use.
It all depends on what affect you are trying to achieve. The larger the light source the softer the shadows. Softboxes control spill more than umbrellas. Gridded softboxes even more so.
I use a 24″ softbox and a 33″ umbrella for work with speedlights, I also have a 60″ umbrella and a huge 6′ stripbox with a egg crate grid that I use with studio monoblocs.

Can’t find a link to the stripbox – think they’re out of stock.
