how can you express your feeling in photography? and if its a big part of your life… in what ways?

The way the photo is taken, in what place, time, and weather, yes… and your feelings. Being natural is the best suggestion. Hiding your true self takes away original thought. Beautifying yourself before taking a photo is not an important thing to do, because you lose the original YOU in the photo.

Photos are best when it is you who took the photo. Even though you are not in the photo itself, it would not exist if not because of you.

Expression? Always achieved by being the natural you.

How do you showcase your photography work?

How do you showcase your photography work to new clients and potential employers? Has anyone used Flickr or Picasa, or is that tacky? Do you think a blog is the better way to go if you don’t have a website?

If you are going to be meeting them in person, make a large scrapbook with your best work, like a resume. If you are showing them online, don’t use Flickr or Picasa, try getting a free website or just pay for one if you really want to look profesional. Don’t use a blog because blogs are too open and people can comment and there are ads and links and pop-ups and its just kind-of tacky if your trying to get a job.
Plus, blogs can distort your pictures or cut them off, and you don’t want half your work to show. Also, maybe you should try e-mailing attachments of your work in a slideshow or something…
