Which universities in the UK are good to study film at?

I want to study film at uni, but the uni’s I’ve researched come up with media courses I don’t want to do such as multi media and journalism. Film is what I want to study first and formost. Maybe including a bit of photography.

I’ve considered going to New York to study but reckon it will too expensive.

I’ve found a one year course in London at the Metropolitan but I would prefer to study for three years to get the proper experience.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Nipper: Ever heard of getting a better education to get a better occupation rather than being on the dole?

Sorry I don’t know anything about the course. I just wanted to say forget Nippers comment and do what your heart is telling you to do. If being a photographer is your dream then don’t let anyone (especially idiots) talk you out of it!
