New York Institute of Photography?

Is this a good photography school? I am really interested in photography but there isn’t a college anywhere near me that teaches it so is this a good alternative? The closest on campus photography school is 180 miles from me.

I graduated fron N.Y.I. and I think it is a good program. The cost is about $1000.00 and it is a correspondence school. I understand they now do offer on line classes also. I have found it to be of great benefit. They did a really good job of teaching the technical aspects of photography but were greatly lacking in the business end of things.

I live in the U.S., by the way. I’ve researched, and The Brooks Institute of Photography and The New York Institute of Photography seem to be the top choices. Are there, in your opinion, anymore leading photography schools in the U.S.? Thanks everyone!!
