Where can I get really cheap headshots?
I’m 14 and I really need some headshots. I live in Virginia near Richmond. Is Walmart photography center a good place. I was also thinking Sears or maybe K-mart. Those places are cheap, and they take really nice photos. But i don’t think their very professional. HELP!
Don’t go to a store to get your picture taken. The pictures they take there will look like school yearbook pictures. If you’re near the University of Richmond or another college, find a photography student. Ask to see some examples of their work. I had a very talented photography student take my headshots for fifteen dollars. (I am in Georgia, though, so can’t recommend her to you.) A good headshot won’t look like a pretty portrait in a yearbook or the social page in the newspaper. The most important thing is that it looks like you and shows off your personality.
