sorry i don’t have a better example, but the point is that it makes the legs look elongated. I know it is perspective, but does it have a different name or is there a certain type of lens to accomplish it?

1900s manipulated photography?
I was watching a PBS video about history of photography in class today, and they said something about a movement to make photography more hand-made and artsy. So they’d do things like cover the lens in Vaseline, scratch the negatives, brush chemicals onto the photo to mimic brush strokes, ect. ect. ect. It turned out stunning, ethereal photos.
Is there a name for this? I’d love to see more examples, research it, and learn how to do it. Thanks in advance!

I think it was often called pictorialism. It was a reaction to realism that had reigned for decades in photography.
