help! major in medicine and minor in?
im applying for scholarships, im a junior in highschool.
and they asking me for my major and minor.
i really want my career to be in medicine so that will be my major.
but my minor im not sure what i should pick.
i was debating between fine art( like photography or film) or fashion design?
are these minors possible or should i stick to something that revolves around medicine? i really dont know. help thanks
Undergraduates don’t major in medicine. Instead, if they want to be doctors, they take the pre-med courses required for eventual medical school admission and major in whatever subject interests them most. Pre-meds often choose a science major — Biology, Chemistry, etc. — but they don’t have to do this. I know doctors who took the pre-med courses while majoring in English or History.
So, you could choose a scientific field as your major and a humanities field as your minor, or vice-versa.
I would suggest that a fine art minor might someday look better to a medical school admissions committee than fashion design.

ok i need a school with a really good departments in like the arts, creative and preforming.
i really want to major in music, or photography.
so what are some schools that are good, but not like Juilliard good?
some with good music composition, and interesting/fun music classes but also photography, and like creative writing classes [cant think of the other word for that]
also, i was watching a video where some chick took a class on the beatles……what schools have classes about the beatles? or like classes about genres like punk?
sorry for the weird question, but i have no idea what school i want to go to!
ohh and how would i get a scholarship?
ive been taking voice lessons for about 10 years so would i just like send in a tape of me singing and playing a song i wrote or what?

I'm looking to go to college with a specialty photography or photojournalism. My family has little money so I thought maybe a scholarship? Does anyone know of any?
See also Columbia (Chicago). I have a friend with a specialization in photography there. Call your budget assistance and ask them to send their scholarships, most colleges have small that only apply to their schools. And believe it or not, sometimes that can be considerable. This list also includes the requirements.
