What are some good photography jobs in Wisconsin that could include design or editing photographs?
any help?
Try the local newspapers depending on where you live. In Milwaukee try the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. I’m not sure what the major paper is in Madison. A lot of these jobs are really gotten through contacts and friends. Try the Marquette Univ./ U W Madison or Milwaukee (or any UW school) career fair – and you can call each university and ask them when they will have fairs. Usually they are in the fall and spring for the upcoming graduating classes.

What are some jobs in photography that travel a lot?
There are the obvious…
Photojournalist
War photographer
Wildlife Photographer
And when you think about it virtually every aspect of photography requires some form of travel
Sports – Traveling to the particular venue
Landscape – Travel to the site
Modeling – Travel to sets and locations
Portrait – Unless you have a studio that people visit you will have to travel to the persons house.
Etc…
I do not know of many types of photography that consist of staying in one place alone apart from product photography and if you have your own studio.

What are some interesting photography jobs ?
I want to have a career in photography… I try to find something I might like in another field but always find myself coming back to photography. What are some interesting jobs in the photography field? What kind of schooling or training would I need to get that job? I don’t really want to go to school because I don’t want someone to be telling me that I’m shooting wrong and tell me how to shoot.
Any insights would be appreciated! : )

that is 100% the wrong attitude – dont you want to be better? i find it unbelievable – is it just me?
if you do have a moment of sanity, then go and errol in a school and learn the trade so your images will be professionally acceptable to people
