Going to buy a camera for photography, best one?
I am asking for a camera for Christmas.
I like how the bulky ones look.
I want one for photography, and with a large screen and once I have taken a picture, i can make changes to it.
I’d also like the camera to have lots of interesting features or effects to use.
Any suggestions?
I would try out the new Nikon D7000. It looks pretty cool. Or you could get a cheapo entry level DSLR and learn how to use it. Then later when you upgrade to a more expensive and more pro camera, you will then have a back up camera.

im a freshman in high school , im going to be in photography soon.

For $100 you are unlikely to get anything impressive from any brand.
If you are studying photography, you’ll need to have at least some manual control of the camera. For a digital SLR, you are talking at least $500. You could buy a decent “bridge” camera for $300 (such as the Fuji S series).
But if you really can’t go over a hundred dollars, you could pick up a 35mm film SLR from eBay. $100 will get you an excellent camera – look for a Canon EOS 300 or 500N. Starting with film is a bit like jumping in at the deep end, but you will learn fast.
