Anyone know a good photography book?
My friend is a really avid photographer and I am looking for his holiday gift. I would like to get him a book that is more a collection of photographs than anything else — definitely not something instructional. He’s really into modern/interesting landscapes and especially macro photography with a lot of texture. Anyone have any ideas?
A book that I have really enjoyed that would make a nice gift is called “The Great LIFE Photographers.” The cover price is US$50. It has over 600 pages – mostly all photographic images. It is a very high quality publication.

My really good guy friend is really into photography and he already has a really good camera and tons of lenses, What should i get him?!
Ask him if there is anything he needs.
If you just buy something without doing so then it is quite likely you will get it wrong.
No-one on here can really help as no one knows what type of photography he is into or what equipment etc he already has.
