My family is bugging me about this. Do I spend too much time playing games?
I usually spend about 1-2 hours playing computer games, more on the weekend. I only go to school Monday-Thursday and only until noon, so I have lots of extra time compared to others my age (15). I have a 4.0 GPA, I take three college classes online, do two extra-curricular activities (rock climbing and photography), volunteer about 10 hours per week, and read loads of books (at least two a week).
My family still thinks I play too much. I have friends who are glued to WoW practically 24/7, so I fail to see how one or two hours could be too much.
No one tries to stop me, they just make snide comments and nag me about it. Ugh.
That’s not too much, obviously.
They might be worried you’ll get sucked into some multi-player game like WoW and it will take up all your time. Especially if, as you say, you have friends that this has happened to.
To stop the nagging try being very direct and saying something like, “I have taken care of my responsibilities for today and this is how I am choosing to spend my free time. You have repeatedly expressed your opinion to me. I heard you, but I do not agree. Please try not to mention it again because it is making me angry with you and I don’t want to feel that way.”
If that still doesn’t help, try the usual method of dealing with nags and IGNORE them. Do not respond in any way. People get tired of saying the same thing over and over if they get no response.

okay so when i was younger, my sisters and i played this one game called driver’s ed(i think). and its basically what the name says, all you had to do was follow the arrows, and then park the car. if you went out of the boundaries, the instructor yelled yell demmeritt.
the other game i’m trying to find is this one celebrity photography game. all i remember is you had a certain celebrity to take pictures of each round, and if you didnt get a good picture then you lost a life, and i remember taking pictures of michael jacskon and the website i played it on was addictinggames.com
