Questions about an art exhibit? Photography?
Hello everyone. I'm a photographer. Next year I think about hosting an art show show my photography work. I live in New York. I have some questions: 1. What kind of space I can get would be appropriate? I will give a gallery art sort of thing. 2. What can you do the paperwork / financial things I need to get prepared in which even someone wants to buy my work? Thanks. Any other help is also useful. This would be my first exhibition showing the best pieces of work I do.
If the picture is good enough it might be worth approaching a gallery or two in the area have a high commission, but he knows how to put on a show, and will the facility to receive payments which may not.

Sell my photography in the streets of New York, what do I need?
I am assuming that I did not need a permit sales, but I am lack of tax identification card, so I'll buy now. I just want to know if there is something that I must be aware friendly advice or anything to help me greatly, so do not come here to say that all gun ho to ruin the tourist town of Goods expensive bad because it will not, so part of my job is the kind of things that sell: Basically http://insidemyeyes.aminus3.com/portfolio/ No shit tons of signs or fake photos 100 of the Empire State Building …. Hopefully this does not mean I usually sell: – / Also what would be a good starting point, I thought more about the museum or a gallery, not tourist spots.
I would bet that you'll need a license to sell. I also think it would be designated areas where you can sell, not just placed in any corner you want. You really need to consult with all licenses and ordinances of the city. Fines for unlicensed dealers are not worth the risk.
