Pondering a career in photography?
I really enjoy photography and I am wondering what I need to do and what I need to start out with to become a photographer(most likely self employed). What classes would be helpful to me in a college? I am planning on purchasing a Nikon D40 to start out with. What lenses, programs, etc. would be of good use to me? For anyone with personal experience, how did you get there and what do you do?
Creative critisism would be great too. I’ll put a link to some of my photographs below. My camera is ametuer but I do the best I can with it.

Don’t expect that when you purchase a DSLR, such as the D40, your on your way to become a professional photographer. I don’t want to sound mean, so don’t take it like that. The best thing you can do is practice, and learn all you can. No shortcuts, get to know everyone you can in this field, and always improve yourself.

why are my myspace blog links messed up?
i have a layout site and for some reason all of my links on my blogs are not working. when you click something it takes you to the wrong blog like for example when i click photography it goes to pixels. im putting the right links but they keep messing up the next day when i look at them. i keep having to redo it and it takes for ever.

omg! that’s been happening to me too!! i have a layout site on myspace and it changed my layout on my blog like there’s a search bar at the bottom that never used to be there and there’s new links!! if you find out whats wrong let me know, please!! i decided to get a freewebs sub-domain because of this problem. plus i don’t want all my content gone if my account got deleted! ugh..
