what use is an MA in contemporary fine art practise?
i want to develop my creativity by having a year off and studying this MA, but what jobs can it open up, in the uk, in the art education field? is it worth the money studying this? my main medium is moving image and photography, this is my passion, but i want a decent job, any ideas?

What Qualifications are Needed to teach in schools, colleges and Universities in Australia?
I Have lots of experience in Teaching photography and fine art in a sixth form college in the UK, however I only Have a PGCE in the Post compulsory education and of cannot teach in schools in the UK Teaching Without qualified status. Does anyone know it this qualification is OK to teach in Australia? I am considering aussi Teaching in schools in Australia have this opens up more avenues of work.f How can I do this? Will it matter if I only Over There Have A Teaching Qualification to teach 16 +?
To teach in a high school you need a Bachelor of Education (4 year degree). To teach in a university you need a PhD. To teach in a Technical College (TAFE) you need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in Teaching and experience not in order DOING. The Cert IV IS required Even If You Have a PhD in Education. This Is An Australian Specific That qualification you cannot get anywhere else.
