is my photography any good?
im only 14… just getting into photography.
i also dont have photoshop or any other fancy editing software, just the free picasa crap
http://www.flickr.com/photos/47442777@N08/
and how can i improve my photography
in answer to ravens question, most of the pictures on my flickr were shot with a nikon L100 which i hated
but i recently got a D3000 which i love!
They’re good for your age, but some are over saturated, such as this one:

The colours are far too bright!
Also, stay away from selective colouring, such as on this one:

You might think it looks creative, but most times it makes the picture look worse.
When taking pictures of animals (like your dog) try getting down to its level, like you’re another dog looking at it. It gives an interesting perspective!
In reference to Forlorn Hope’s answer, there’s nothing wrong with taking photos of pets, flowers or close ups! I happen to love taking photos of these.
Good luck, you have real potential!

Editing photos…How do you …?
Okay, I’m doing a photography thing, and Im doing this depression photo, and I’ve already took the photographs, and I thought I could add some scars to her wrists, to make it look a bit more better. So is there any way I could EDIT the photograph and make it look like scars on her arms (Like shes been cutting) Don’t insult, Its for photography not any other reasons O.O Btw, I have Paint.net and PhotoFiltre. And I will only use free software, thanks.
