Nikon Manual Cameras?
I’m looking to get into photography with a manual camera. I am interested in black and white photos and am wondering which camera to buy / where to find it. Either the Nikon FE, Nikon FE10 or the Nikon FM10. If you could help me find them for sale online (Great Condition or New) that would be great. There is no price limit for me so any help and suggestions would be helpful.

I went digital and have a Nikon FE like new with a normal, wide angle and a 105 micro and a 80 t0 200 .
The 80 to 200 lens works great but needs a friction cloth installed so as not to have zoom slippage.
If you check prices around and want this outfit I would gladly include the 80 to 200 free and also a free Nikon N6060 body, This body has a back cover broken latch, most all these models have that problem.

Nikon Camera…need help please!?
okay, so i am a new photography and i came across a nikon d1x camera for sale for less then $300 with everything and the guy says theres nothing wrong. I know this camera is old, but i cant afford any of the newer models. I just want to know if this camera takes good pictures, and is a god beginner camera. also, what about the D1h and the d70s? thanks so muchh!

I have a D1 and D1x. The D1x has only 5.6 megapixels. But if your not gonna make really large prints form your photos that should be no problem. That’s just slightly less than a cheesy D40. The D1 and the D1h both have only 2.7 megapixels. The D1 has a slow recycling rate. You can’t take another photo until the previous photo has been saved on the card. With the highest quality setting this could be about 10 seconds. The D1h will be faster at this. The D1 line is one of the better built Nikon digital cameras. Only the D2 and D3 line will be as rugged as the D1 line. I use the D1 and D1x manly becuase I have a lot of old manual lenses. Only a few Nikon DSLR caneras will meter with these lenses. I can’t afford those just yet. If yo’re wanting to learn photography and familiarize yourself with the functions of a DSLR then the D1x will be a fine choice. Yes it will eventually need repair. But the lenses that come with it will be usable on the next nikon body to come along. What lenses come wit this camera? What accesories?
