GAhh! Ok. I really want to get into photography. Film or digital?? Remember. I’m 16 and in Japan. I cant get a job. Everyday i seem to become more interested in photography. It feels like I can connect with the picture…

So how should i go about this? What its the basic start up kit? Something classic like a Minolta X-700? or Modern like one of the Canons in the EOS family?

get a digital slr and then get as many lenses or best in quality that you can. Nikon seem to have overtaken canon with the quality of their cameras. maybe start with a d60 with the kit lens it comes with. Then try to get a wide angle lens and a large aperture lens for different styles and effects. Then start up a flickr account and start uploading your pics. All the best
