Need help to name Photography Business?

I’m getting ready to open a photography business of my own…I’m trying to figure out what to name my business. My last name is really too long to put on pictures. My name is Debbie–I don’t want to give out my last name but it starts with an S and is 10 letters long. My initials are DMS. Any creative ideas I could possibly use? Any help is appreciated. I have a couple things I’m thinking on but wanted more options.

People will really only take you seriously if you use your name – none of this cutesy-fartsy name business, like “Starlight Images” or “Like a Dream Photography”

Seriously. Use your name. If you really think your last name is too long, try to shorten it – for example, if it were Stephenson, you could do Debbie Stephen’s Photography instead.

Ok so i love photography and i’m a member of a few groups on bebo but i really want to have a go at starting my own group.

How my husband and I get the name of our company without spending photograph an arm and a leg!?

We have our own studio and weddings shot, graduates, glam, etc. .. but we have no idea how to market our talent? Where can we go so cheap? Any creative ideas would help Thanks …

You could get a job at a local festival or Sposa and provide a free package. Make a free marriage and you get tons of places for people enter the contest. Then you can directly market to them with some kind of discount.:) Bon luck!
